06.09.2018 – Workshop Sensor Technology for Rail Vehicles and for Supervision of Track Systems / Trains

The Smart Rail Connectivity-Campus in Annaberg-Buchholz, Saxony, will evolve  into the leading European development, prototype and testing location for conntected and automated mobility within the next ten years. The Campus focusses on the innovation field of automated driving and intelligent conntected systems in rail traffics, rail technology and hybridization.

Coming from this primary innovation field the Smart Rail Connectivity-Campus will shape up to an anchor point and knowledge promoter in the region further strengthening the branches of machinery and plant engineering as well as the automotive industry. Such an unique place will at the same time promote new cooperations and synergies throughout different fields of technology such as sensor technology, drive technology, digitalization and telecommunications as well as open up the access for research fields like human-technology-interaction or innovation management.

Fraunhofer ENAS would like to cordially invite you to jointly deepen the discussion in the field of sensor technology and intelligent systems. If you would like to broach your own ideas and demands into the session you are kindly invited to hold a short presentation (5 min).

Concerning further questions on the workshop and for registration (with or without presentation) please contact Mrs. Dr. Martina Vogel (Martina.Vogel@enas.fraunhofer.de) or Mrs. Dr. Bianca Milde (bianca.milde@enas.fraunhofer.de).
